First deadlift session of meet prep and last training session for this week. I had some issues with counting reps so I didn’t do all of the planned reps for the work sets. Getting senile I guess. Also, I lost tightness on the last rep of the last work set and I felt it in my lower back. So I’m typing this with a hot pack on my lower back. I’ve already iced it and I’ll ice it again tomorrow. I was able to do my accessory lifts but I had to go with a lot less weight than I’d originally planned to use. Oh well, I’m not training to do accessory lifts in competition.
