Training in the garage by yourself is tough. You usually don’t have the camaraderie of other gym members to help push you. To help out, we combed the web to find videos that will help motivate you to keep striving to be your best.
Today features Pete Rubish murdering a 780lb deadlift in front of powerlifting’s most famous washer and dryer. Pete has continued to grow stronger every year, despite injuries and he’s now knocking on the door of a 900lb deadlift at a bodyweight of 242.
Check out this clip of his early training but stay motivated and keep training until people want to post videos of you! If you’d like to hang out with me, Pete, Steve Goggins, Justin Bethune, Monique Hayes and Samantha Coleman in person, we’ll be at Iron Beast Gym, 675 Grove Street, Gainesville, GA for an Animal Barbell Club charity event this Saturday!
