Training in the garage by yourself is tough. You usually don’t have the camaraderie of other gym members to help push you. To help out, we combed the web to find videos that will help motivate you to keep striving to be your best.
Today’s video features garage gym athlete and top ranked powerlifter; former Marine David “The Beast” Douglas. This guy’s accolades are numerous and I’m as impressed by his compassionate heart as I am by his amazing lifts. Check him out doing 515lbs for two sets of four paused reps!
Train hard until people start posting videos of you!
Week 3: Bench Day – 515lbs for 4 pause reps (3 sets) (2 shown in video) – 435lbs close grip pause floor presses for 5 reps (3 sets) – Heavy triceps accessory work Thoughts: As my bodyweight is dropping i thought i would have alittle more of a struggle on bench, but i am really happy with how this session went. On a few reps i wasn't engaging my leg drive as much as i should have, but when i turned it on it got me where i needed to be. Had an awesome session with the team and always look forward to training now even more because of how much work we are putting in. Onto some pulling tonight. @gogginsforce @nubreednutrition @teamhmb @pioneer_fit @lockitoutbarbell https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GqGYV4SInTc&feature=youtu.be #powerlifting #weightlifting #gym #gymlife #gymrat #marine #fitness #fitnessmotivation #fitnessaddict #bigboy #beastmode #fitnessmotivation #powerliftingmotivation #gametime #motivation #inspiration #workhard #workout #grinding #grindmode #iammilitarymuscle #bench #benchpress #lockitoutbarbell @a_lone_wolfe @mrhodgson @__jonflexin__ @holdingagreatbreath @casillas_guerito13 @_tuch13_ @lizzybeesworld
